Terms of Service

Last updated: May 17, 2026

1. Service Description

Driving.lt is a two-sided marketplace platform that connects driving school students with driving schools and their instructors in Lithuania. The platform provides tools for driving schools to manage their operations (instructor management, scheduling, student enrollment, payments) and for students to discover, book, and pay for driving lessons. Driving.lt acts solely as a technology platform and is not itself a driving school, instructor, or educational institution.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it up to date. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you register on behalf of a driving school, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

3. Booking and Cancellation

When you book a lesson through the platform, you enter into an agreement directly with the driving school or instructor. Cancellation policies are set by each driving school and displayed at the time of booking. The platform facilitates the booking process but is not a party to the agreement between students and driving schools. Students are expected to arrive on time for booked lessons. Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on your account.

4. Payment Terms

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Lesson prices and package fees are set by the respective driving schools and instructors. Driving.lt may charge driving schools a platform fee or subscription fee for use of the platform. All prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Refund policies are determined by the individual driving school. Stripe's terms of service apply to all payment transactions.

5. Platform Liability

Driving.lt is a marketplace platform and does not provide driving instruction services directly. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of lessons offered by driving schools or instructors listed on the platform. We are not liable for any damages arising from the relationship between students and driving schools, including but not limited to lesson quality, scheduling disputes, or personal injury during lessons. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Lithuanian law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the Driving.lt platform are owned by or licensed to Driving.lt. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform content without prior written consent. Content you upload to the platform (such as profile photos or reviews) remains your property, but you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform in connection with the services.

7. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If no resolution is reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Lithuania. As a consumer, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/odr.

8. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may close your account before they take effect.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at info@driving.lt. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Reviews and moderation

Students may leave reviews about instructors after their enrollment is complete. Reviews are moderated before being made public: the driving school connected to the enrollment may approve or reject a review. Driving.lt also reserves the right to remove reviews containing defamation, false information, personal data shared without consent, or abusive language. To report a review, contact info@driving.lt — we aim to respond within 24 hours. Your review remains your property, but you grant Driving.lt and the relevant driving school a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform.
